Did You Do an Undergraduate Degree in Biochemistry?
i was massively keen on biochemistry and evolutionary biology. But i found the way that undergraduates are taught, generally in universities, very constrictive. All that memory work has got nothing to do with how science works or whether you will actually be a good scientist. And it put me off. I would have left science if i had anything else to do at that point. When i started ph d, and realized that research was just wonderful, and then since then,. i've been going in a more conventional direction.
