The Phillies are eight games away from potentially winning what would be an unlikely World Series championship. It's a really nice mix of young players who seem like they don't know any better, and veterans who are the complete opposite. I've been watching the Phillies more this year than I have in 10 or 11 years. They had been a fun team after they fired Gerardi and it was Rob Thompson's team.
