Is the Normal Rate Going to Be So Much of a Problem?
The markets are still discounting much faster rate rises over the rest of the year than just 25 basis point increment. So a, someone will have to cha her. We gattho, if phili blow saying the normal rate is two and a half per centte the end rate. I mean, we've been in emergency mode, so if we're now getting back to the normal rate, then you'dd assume that that is the destination. If inflation is going to be so much of a problem, surely theyr gong to have to go a bit higher than that, arn't they? Ultimately, yes.
