The US-China Relationship Is Getting Worse

The US-China relationship has steadily deteriorated. There is no cooperation on anything, not even talks on climate change. The defense officials here are not picking up the hotline from the US military since this balloon incident. And there doesn't appear to be any conciliation on either side to resume talks toward rescheduling Secretary Blinken's visit.
