Spying and the Great Novelists of the Twenty-First Century
There is a link between the great novelists of the twentieth century and spying. I just think they are not entirely separate. The first thing that stella remington did when she stepped down as the first woman ahead of m i five, was to start writing novels. So there is is something about the exercise of the imagination in espionage that is hugely powerful and much misunderstood.
