Pete Warden: A Pivotal Figure
Pete Warden was an astrophysicist by training a PhD in astrophysics and then worked his way up to become a general in the Air Force. He ran some black ops projects for Rumsfeld and was always, he was really kind of like a iconoclast in the government. As he climbed through the ranks, he was probably almost fired about 18 times and he was actually fired for a black ops mission gone wrong. But he ends up playing this huge role in the rise of commercial space. It's only now that we're going back to the roots.
