Eiji Fabin's Interest in the Area of Auschwitz
Eiji Fabin wanted to build a factory in Upper Silesia. Auschwitz was chosen because of its location not far from the Wistula River. The labor of concentration camp prisoners was very cheap and they could be delivered to the construction site by food or later on by trains. SS could produce pre-fabricate elements of barracks, furniture, wooden boxes.
