How Much of Our Energy Is Coming From Renewables?
If you're using an electric stove, up to half of it could be coal. You also have to factor in that- I thought Joey Manchin was telling me. If you're taking gas from Pennsylvania and bringing into the Northeast, there's those transportation emissions as well. It's hard to argue that if you had fewer buildings connected to the gas grid, that we would need to be burning as much gas. But again, it might just be pushing that into coal, which would be worse in terms of emissions.
