Red the Book - The First Tool
The first tool is called the reversal of desire. It helps us notice what problem we might be experiencing and then use the tool so we can actually engage in constructive behavior right? You make the important distinction as well that it isn't just a change in attitude, we need to change behavior too. The second tool allows them to give ideas about who else to call which will only fail if they don't get back to the unconscious. And the third one lets you flood yourself with information from your own mind rather than relying on other people's opinions or anything like that.
