The Polarization of Higher Education
When you're into the deeper studies of scripture, it seems to be a polarizing experience. It either pushes some people closer to their faith, or it completely pushes some people away. I didn't have those types of questions when I was that seminary to know how I would be received. And I found them to be more honest with the texts themselves. Yet, as I did, I also found there was no basis for even being a liberal.
