The Problem of Reproductive Justice in Population and Family Planning

Reproductive justice is a social movement that began in 19 94 with a group of american women of color activists. They developed a three pillar framework, which supports the right to not have unwanted children through access to contraception and abortion. And then from their climate justice grew out of the environmental justice movement. It took those same corpes principles and applied them to the inequitable ways that low income communities and communities of color are burdened by the impact of climate change.
