KIESTAMA has said that he wants the Commons to remain the key chamber for making legislation. He doesn't want, I think, to replicate what has happened in the US Congress and the US Senate. But of course, you are creating new jobs for elected politicians to run for. This is something obviously very, very complex. And it will take a huge amount of time, effort consultation in a government facing key economic challenges,. wanting to reform public services. It's maybe not dissimilar in recent weeks from talking about ending tax breaks on private schools. Is that a number one priority? Probably not.
