The New Union Between Egypt, Syria and Iroc
Naser wanted a syrian regime that recognized his leadership of the pan arab cause. And he got it in early 19 63, when both syria and iroc experienced successful bathist cops. In order to strengthen their new regimes, the bath movement immediately initiated talks with nasser on a new union. This new union was greeted with huge jubilation, especially by the palestinians. The signatories had made it a signature aim of the new union to liberate palestine. So the arab street erupted in in glee. For there were huge riots inside the west bank of palestinian ing a flag with four stars on itas.
