The Implications of God's Redeeming Work
The hope of the Christian is not just that we have sin forgiven and that we get to float around on clouds like a ghost forever. The redemption that God is bringing about is a physical one in which bodies themselves are going to be healed. And Paul says, if you're a Christian, you are adopted. You have a status as the child of God, but you are waiting to experience the fullness of it.
