Donald Trump is accused of trying to extort money from the Ukrainian government in order to extract a fake political story about then-President Joe Biden. The former president says he had every right to have these documents under the Presidential Records Act, which is civil, not criminal. He also said that this was an attempt to rig and steal a presidential election like something straight out of a fascist or communist nation.
