What Is It Costing Us?
A strategy of high cash flow means that generally speaking, it should be giving you a cash amount after tax. But if you're using an equity deposit, it's going to cost you more to hold that property because you've got a loan over and above the normal loan that you're taking out against the property. The gross yield is one calculation that never changes. It's the rent per week times why 52 divided by the purchase price. However, the net yield is your situation. Hopefully that makes sense to you.
