Are We Protectors of Decency?
This is the issue of European football now, basically. As nearly everyone says, it needs a reset for all sorts of reasons. It's about where the money's coming from and you can't meet FFP requirements by being able to self-fund. But in its essence, it's essentially an attempt to create a Premier League that replaces the Champions League. And I find that extraordinary, given that the biggest reason that,. say, Barcelona and Juventus want it, is to get rid of all these huge losses that have been running up.
