When I was happiest a decade ago, I was deliberately saying no to almost everything that came my way. And so much of what I'm doing now is also learning to say no. It brings up the same feelings of guilt and selfishness. But at the same time, my time is mine and I need to use it in the ways that are going to make my life better.
