I don't think anybody would have been doubting today that he had engaged in an obstructive act. But people kind of wait him out or as you described, just kind of don't respond or just don't do it or refuse. And that's from the level of FBI director and the attorney general to the level of pretty good level White House staff and outside advisors like Corey Lewandowski who just can't be troubled to call the attorney general and put pressure on him to unrecuse.
