I'd Rather Burn Natural Gas Than Coal, Right?
If you are using an electric stove and your electricity is coming from natural gas, it's kind of a wash. If in places that didn't have clean energy were to dramatically increase its electricity usage, then you would need to burn more coal. There are natural gas plants, but it's more likely to come from coal. It's cheaper for electrical purposes than natural gas.
