The Importance of Listening to Both Testaments

When you hear God here talking about the door, immediately your mind leaps to where Christ calls himself the door. And as soon as we turn from God alone, from Christ alone, that my salvation, my righteousness is in him alone. I'm stepping outside that door in a sense. I'm no longer protected, no longer in that arc Christ as the ship that takes me through troubled waters of this life and guides me safely home.
