MJ Melendez - Is He Worth Buying?

Melendez hit 41 home runs in 124 games in 2021 but you look at the rest of his minor league track record and it's an 800 OPS total. He had a near 30% strikeout rate which is bad. His fly ball rate 55.7% according to fan grass the second among the hitters with at least 400 at bat so like everything's going in the air if he's not just whiffing on it. It reminds me of Mike Zunino two years ago nowMike Zunino was a little more extreme with the strikeout rate but they both put the they both strike out a lot I can't quite justify MJ Melendez' price tag, says Tom Murphy.
