Stonehenge - Are the Stones Really Transported From North Wales?

Many of the stones do come from south wales, and many of them come locally. We've got two very distinct types of rock at stonehenge. The blue stones comprise te whole bunch of different types of rock. And when we look at these big ones, especially if we see one of these atmospheric silhouettes against a sunset or something, we see the really big stones. And these are all sarson. Sarson is a very distinctive rock that's found scattered across southern and eastern england. North wiltshire in particular, is one of the biggest concentrations of these in europe.
