The Neanderthal Gene and the Transgenic Mouse

Fascinating. So what I want them to do is make a transgenic mouse, right? And then give it some tests once it's grown up and see if it, you know, it's a better cognitive ability. That's where I think I have this in the show notes for later on. Sort of like a fork in the road, right? So you have these mice, a strange echomyse that have more neurons, but then they kind of stop and then they ask, okay, well, what is this gene doing? The only difference here in those treatments are that is that one amino acid.
