The Importance of Self-Assessment
It's difficult to do these things because you literally have the first off, CMMC is not in play right now. And everybody's only doing a self-assessment. Do we need to be PCI compliant? No. Yes. Most organizations are not thinking through what's the best thing to do from a security perspective. If it exists anywhere, it's a toehold in, it's an attack vector,. It's a feature, and it can lead to so many more bad things happening.
