Tommy John's surgery broke his foot, the COVID shortened season and going through all those adverse, unclear rehab processes with the Cubs rebuilding. And you get to that point where he has a legitimate shot to prove his value. I do think part of the issue though is going to become like Tucker Barnhart has been really bad for this team. He's been a sub replacement level player, negative war on the season.
