The National Ignition Facility Achieved Positive Net Fusion in Their Experiment
The National Ignition Facility achieved positive net fusion again in their experiment. This isn't going to provide our base load fusion power, but it's going to help us understand more about how fusion works. Last week we reported that NASA had lost contact with Voyager 2 after a command sent to the spacecraft put it out of alignment with Earth. They were able to send what they called an interstellar shout, a very powerful blast of radio waves,. A message shouting out to Voyager to turn its orientation and point back at Earth.
