The Difference Between Gold and Cryptocurrencies
Gold's market is multiple times bigger than the crypto market. You're not going after gold dealers, that's correct. We are jurisdictionally bounded to look after securities markets and securities investments. The idea is if you as an investor are giving your money to somebody else with the idea it is going to turn into more money because of something that they are going to do or something that some other identifiable third party is going to do. That won't always be successful. But it does create additional obligations on a part of the person who's taking the money.
