The Importance of Balance in Life
It's evident from the gospels that Jesus enjoyed himself. There is a sense in which he's not saying, we must renounce all of these. It's ultimately about not making an idol of those things. Our ultimate idol becomes improving our goldfandy cap and bringing people to Jesus. If you want to live a more intense life with God there may well be things that have to be given up.
