The Role of China in the US Green Industrial Policy
Green New Deal advocates were really pushing for a wartime style level of mobilization, but definitely without an actual war. Is it indeed rather depressing that ultimately geopolitical competition simultaneously economic and military that's very dangerously close to armed conflict? What sort of terrain does this render this new industrial policy given the really serious, though still frankly like incomprehensible threat of outright war? And then lastly, if one exists, what what might a stable geo economic and geopolitical settlement with China may look like?
