I'm listening to you talk about your anecdotal experience of the jarring between what researchers think ind terms of their own personal opinions, manifested in formal vote at the end of conferences. To some extent, a people have accused physicists looking at that a of taking that proach to the exclusion of all other approaches. And they insist that everything has to be manifestations of the same thing. But i think there certainly is an argument, but historically, that this is something worth approaching, or worth thinking about at some siae.
