UC Berkeley's Partnership With Sing-Wong University

UC Berkeley's partnership with sing-wong University known as TBS I is engaging in research and dual-use technologies that will be used to advance the Chinese military and intelligence capabilities. Despite billing this as an academic partnership in practice one of TBS I's main function is to facilitate PRC funding of Berkeley research all the while reportedly failing to disclose funding from city of Shenzhen and from sing- wong itself. "There's a lot of unanswered questions here" says Senator Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Committee on Education and Workforce.
