How to Write a Children's Book
When you're writing grown up history, i spend a long time worrying about the four people in the world who know more than i do about hiyat. And presumably that's quite different really, because youve you just go actually screwed up. So there's no footnotes. I mean, kids don't want it. They what? Tell me the bloody story,. was he, was he poisoned? Or did he die of malaria or something? Make up your mind. It's attually quite a good discipline. You just have to make up your mind and that is incredibly liberating. As a historian writing for children, you also have to know what your characters are like. Of course
