I Think the Google Moon Project Is a Kind of Colonialist Project and I Think It's Not Unrelated to a Longer History of Conquest and Colonization
Photographs are meant to elicit this thing where you like look past maybe like what are the specifics of this and that you're just supposed to instead focus on being sold this idea of space. There's something about naming and putting your mark on those images that is is almost colonialist right so like the whole google moon project in some ways as a kind of colonialist project but I still think it's for a different reason too.
