Is it right to call the war on terror a war? What is a war really? It's just a campaign. You know, you could fight a war in many different settings. I would say that the war on terrorism is fought between nation states and those who want to bring down nation states. But how can the Western powers drain that swamp? They don't rule the Middle East.What is needed is a global effort in order to introduce better governance," he says.
