David Frum: There's a big picture point that you make and I think if we can think back to some of the guys that made a lot of money during the most recent bubble crisis like John Paulson. And you have a story, a little parable story, American virologist David Baltimore, who also want to know about prize of medicine. He said they were often really smart people, but they had never done what they had purported to do. The general point he was making was that good science is always a collaborative community effort where various scientists are pointing out each other's errors and problems.
