Cancel Culture - It's Sorry He Can Go
When we talk about cancel culture, what we're talking about is angry mob tactics paired with a overly fast attempt to bring justice. As far as the cancellation goes, I think that the difference is really between getting fired versus having your entire livelihood revoked. The cancel culture version would be, I don't want Louis C. K to perform at my club. It's a sort of like universalized boycott as opposed to an individual boycott. Like, who has that happened to? They tried to cancel Chappelle and then he went and toured in stadiums all over the country. He's at Madison Square Garden. There's a pendulum swing when it swings that hard.
