i don't think i've got the photograph, one of my favourite photographs. None of the great theatrical producers or directors could better the brandenburg gate and the bit in front of it. Nick gowing was one of the first to go deep into the east and produce some compelling reports at the time. But they were all there, and john simpson standing their towering figure,. The other is jack kennedy, iben i'n, berlinne. And thats settinga nobody could better.
