The Instinct to Crowdfund in Ukraine
There's just a lot of gaps to fill and the US can't be on top of all of that. The Ukrainian defense ministry, for reasons of money, of bureaucracy or whatever, it can't do everything. And this is something that Ukraine has become very used to because they had very inefficient and corrupt governments. So it's just really ingrained and I think it is actually more important than the dollar value simply because it says to every soldier at the front, I've got an entire society behind me.
