Darwinism and the Symbolic Pact
Psychoanalysis is in a certain way about failure. It's about how we're going to fail in the right way. And I think, isn't he saying you have to, that, that this massive dark investment in, in Darwinism is itself a missed, a way of missing the symbolic structure? The symbol begets intelligent beings as Hegel says. But I do want to say the symbolic pact can actually bring in even more violence. So there's some sort of hint, but on the whole in the seminar, the symbolic is about a bond, right? Yeah.
