I Am the Lord, So You Will Keep My Commandments and Do Them
"I am the lord, so you shall keep my commandments and do them," says Moses. "You shall not profane my holy name." The Levitical priesthood was given to the tribe of levi and not to everybody. To be consecrated to the lord is to be made sacred for the lord's sake. This is the whole idea behind the book of leviticus. Is not just here are some rules. But truly, what it really about is being separate from everyone else.
