Henry's Artillery and the Battle of Harfleur
James the fifth landed in august 14 15 in normandy to lay claim to his ancestral patrimony. He brought with him, we think, around 12 thousand men. It took them six weeks to capture the town of harfleur which was not taken until the 20 second of september. The citizens of harfloe very sensibly surrendered before that became necessity. This was just greedy kings trying to grab some territory. These were paid people, not patriots.
