I would have expected there to be more fear and people to price the longer end with higher inflation expectations. Yet all they did really was chase the front end of the curve. The bond market year to date has performeda worse than the first eight months of any year in domestic us. But his sabre rattling about getting inflation under control is persuasive enough that people believe he'll succeed.
