Roosevelt Media: How to Monetize the Continued Life of Conventions
I like getting people together and giving them enough infrastructure that they can make that music. And actually I tried to convene people and content for years through the community. What I learned was that you have to have some kind of sustainable model that backs up these efforts, especially if the convening is being done by volunteers who aren't going to be able to sustain their own efforts. So that's kind of why I started Roosevelt media was to have a company that would figure out a way to monetize the continued life of these conventions of sorts. That's what I've been doing that I start a lot of things, but I have a team that keeps them going.
