The world didn't come together to fight terrorism until its Islamic form attacked New York in 2001. The Islamists hate the nation state because it is the biggest obstacle and hurdle in their path to establish Islamic Caliphate, writes Peter Bergen. "Islamic-inspired terrorism is one of the very, very, very few instances of history where a group is united around the identity of a faith," he says.
