Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la avoided them, faltering and bickering and fighting. How about O'Hud? Ha'Ta'ida fa'Shil'tum, wa'la ta'anazah, tum fil'amri,. notice the exact same two things. And you would have began fighting amongst yourselves, but Allah protected you.
