There's a draft bill in the house that would require social media to verify the identity of people who post on it. But i'm concerned with both of them because i don't know exactly how you verification the identity of every one of you require a credit card, which would obviously exclude number of peopleor scan of government idea. And once you have that, how long do you retain it for? It's more concerning to require people to post under their real names. I think either of them would face substantial first amendment problems. There are some cases where,. because the right tanonymous speech is not absolute and te there are some cases that are troubling, not really as much on the main stream
