People are hardwired to be lost a verse. If I said to you, let's toss a coin, heads you win $500, tails you lose, you have to give me $500. It's an open question as to whether you take the bet. But if you took the bet and lost it, it's a racing certainty that that feeling of loss will be felt by you between two and three times as intensely as the gain with generative feeling of pleasure. The human mind approaches and reacts to profits and losses in different ways and with different intensities. We've had two already in the last 13 years. Maybe we're not too far away from the perspective of another one.
