The Future of Football

I'm sitting on a gender equality working group at the moment for UEFA and we're investigating how to ensure there are more women's voices represented. We've seen some staggering numbers of people coming in through the gates. So the governance of the game is critical because up until now I'm afraid we just haven't had women exercising power in football. For some real basic things we've got to get right in the business. In England we get a very significant investment from the FA to drive participation to improve the talent base, number of coaches and number of referees.
