The Trial of Richard Ramirez

Judge Tynan was faced with a huge decision. He did not want to mistrial because it had been such a long and horrific case. The jurors came back, and they were questioned about whether they could go forward now. They all admitted that they had been very traumatized by this. But they all agreed to go forward, including the new alternate. Ramirez is found guilty of 13 counts of murder, 5 counts of attempted murder, 11 counts of sexual assault, and 14 counts of burglary; receives 19 death sentences.
